The Fan Game - Back to the Future Part III: Timeline of Monkey Island

Marty finally gets the almanac, leaving Biff to crash into a manure truck. Marty burns the almanac, reversing Biff's changes to the timeline, as Doc hovers above in the time machine. Before Marty can join him in the time machine, the DeLorean is struck by lightning and disappears. The Voodoo Lady through a voodoo magic explains to Marty the timeline has changed. Doc was transported back to 1655. Marty races back into town to find the 1955 Doc, who had just helped the original Marty return to 1985. Shocked by Marty's sudden reappearance, Doc faints. Great Scott!!!!!

Mixing Back to the Future and Monkey Island is a weird idea. I like it. ;D
I had a look at the demo. Is it right that there's currently nothing to do other than picking up the hoverboard?
The rendition of the Back to the Future theme sound so...Amiga. Was ist composed on actual Amiga hardware?

The music is original Amiga ;) the Demo only serves to show that the project goes on. ;)

- PLOT -
Marty finally gets the almanac, leaving Biff to crash into a manure truck.
As Doc hovers above in the time machine; Marty burns the almanac, reversing Biff's changes to the timeline.
Then later a portal opens and sucks the car into it before Marty can join him on the time machine.
A few seconds later, a member of the Guild of Weavers appears bringing him a message: "The timeline has changed! Doc was transported back to 1655!" “Largo LaGrande” attempted to save “LeChuck” with a voodoo temporal spell. Wrong target.”
Bobbin Threadbare gives him a map describing where the DeLorean time machine is located.
The Map mentions that located in the DeLorean are instructions on how to repair it, using 1955 components, so that Marty can return to 1985.
Dr. Emmett Brown is shocked to see Marty moments after sending him back to 1985 and he faints outside of the Hill Valley Courthouse.
After they recover the DeLorean inside a cave in the Caribbean, they discover a tombstone bearing Doc's name that states that he died on July 3,1655.
The tombstone also reads that Doc had been “Shot in the back by William "Fish Dog" Tannen, over a matter of eighty pieces of eight and was erected for him “By his beloved Carla, the Sword Master of Mêlée Island". Marty decides to go back to 1655 to rescue his comrade.

Hmm... this project seems interesting. A collaboration between two of my favourite Amiga games.
The screenshots look also pretty nice.
Also the fact, that the music is composed with real Amiga software is great!
I'm curious about the full release. ;)

Don't get me wrong, the game looks great. But without gameplay, puzzles and so on it is nothing. If you're already finished this, great. But why did your already released demos lacked gameplaywise?

Instead of reworking all your graphics and posting them in high frequencies you should better focus on implementing some gameplay and finish the game.

Last night's time travel experiment was apparently a complete success.
Lightning struck the clock tower at precisely 10:04 p.m.
Sending the necessary 1.21 gigawatts into the time vehicle,which vanished in a brilliant flash of light leaving a pair of fire trails behind.
I, therefore, assume that Marty and the time vehicle were transported forward through time into the year 1985.

Notice: in the first 18 minutes, the Radio deejays are talking about videogames, Monkey Island and Back To The future. Here starts the interview with Daniele:
R: We are back, and now we will reveal to you why, today, we have talked about Monkey Island and Back to the Future.
On December 8th, on youtube we watched a mysterious trailer, which talked about a videogame, currently in production, which is mixing these two… it’s curious, and unexpected. Two completely different genres, one from the movies and the other from the videogames… that’s the reason why we decided to make a phone call to the creator of this fan made videogame, “Back to the future part 3 - timeline of Monkey Island”, @dany82 Daniele Spadoni. Good evening Daniele.
D: “Hi, good evening to you.”
R: “Good evening, welcome to the Level App.”
D: “thank you.”
R: “We would like to make you some questions. Your game is fan-made, you are working on it by yourself or with the support of other fans?” “And another thing, sorry for my interruption… since by playing it we understand that you are making it by yourself, we would like to know it is possible to give our contribution, some way, to this project?”
D: “Since it’s a fan game, there are no donations, nor cooperations. I can make it all by myself, I’m used to work this way, since the Commodore times.”
R: “oooh!”
D: “eheheh. Let’s say that I come from another world, not the videogames world. I have just learnt a free program, which allows you to create point-n-click games like the old times. I am a challenge, to create something that could lead you back to the past.”
R: “Oh, you just mentioned the Holy Graal, the Commodore! Beyond the love to your sagas, Monkey Island and Back to the Future, where this idea to join two universes comes from? Where did you get your inspiration?”
D: “Recently, I was playing with Monkey Island… I was noticing that there are some locations, or rooms as we can call them, that you couldn’t enter.”
R: “Ah!”
D: “For instance that famous scene of the Diskette 22, where you were asked to insert the Diskette 22 to enter in another location, another room which was not possible, it was clearly a joke. So I asked myself, why not to use these missing locations, and to explain the reason why they weren’t used back then. So, someway, I got the idea to insert parts, go back to the past and to change the timeline that we all know, of Back to the Future 3.”
R: “Very, very clever.” “The idea is clever and interesting, we personally tried the demo and were very curious. We ask you to wait a few minutes again for a little musical break, we are back.”

I'm going to deeply apologize if it turns out I'm wrong about this but to me this just feels weirdly fake on some level.
I feel reminded of the guy who posted tons of concept art in a thread on adventure treff until it turned out he just took other people's artwork and presented it as his own, which also explained the pretty wild variety in drawing style.
This seems to be original work though (except where it clearly isn't) so who knows. But creating this much coherent content in such a short time is almost impossible in my mind.
Again, sorry if I'm wrong, and I'll gladly change my mind about this.
(I do find mixing resolutions like that very ugly though, and I'm not going to apologize for saying that :P )

However, I think it's not a good idea to show too much screenshots from your project. I really dislike it to be spoilered, before the game will be released. And I think I'm not the only one, who has the same opinion. I prefer to be surprised from the game directly, when I play it.
But still I'm looking forward. :)

Well, I looked into it and the overall translation is very good.
Although I found some translation mistakes, which lead the german phrases to make no sense.
I think there is still the need of a corrector.
