Wer das immer noch auf deutsch spielen will, findet im Anhang eine AGS-Translation-Datei (german.tra).
Kopiert man die ins Spieleverzeichnis, kann man die Sprache per winsetup.exe auf "German Translation" umstellen.

Das ist auch die Version, für die diese Translation ausgelegt ist.

Das Spiel ist Salems (a.k.a Krytof L. Shadow's) Erstlingswerk und ist komplett durchspielbar, auch wenn noch einiges an Feinschliff fehlt.
Mit einem Update würde ich aber nicht mehr rechnen.

PS: Nur reiner Text ist deutsch übersetzt. Grafiken (Kapitel-Titel, Zeitung) sind weiterhin französisch.
Da die deutsche GUI überschrieben wurde, nimmt die Übersetzung mit der englischen GUI vorlieb, die allerdings wegen der Buttongröße ziemlich zusammengeschoben aussieht - nur falls sich jemand wundert, wieso da talk to pen steht

Edit: Translation-Datei gezippt, damit die Forensoftware nicht den Dateityp beanstandet.

I'm so happy that old page I realized years ago with Gabex in Mix and Mojo is ever useful!

Congratulations and THANK YOU on the realisation of the German translation, in the name of all fans!

Perhaps you (or anyone else) know the author, or know how to track him down?

It would be great to have the permission and the source code to implement the Italian translation as well, fix all the bugs, update it for the latest operating systems, and maybe prepare it for further translations into other languages!

I don't know the author, and the author doesn't know about me or my translation.
I just translated this unofficially for myself and offered it here in case anyone is still interested after just 14 years
If the mixnmojo info about Salem is from you, you already know much more about him than i do.
 
Sorry I can't help you there. Although i would very much welcome a bug-fixed and polished version of this game.
